Case Study Number 11

HVE Dental Tube Utilizing Over-Molding and Two-Shot Molding

The customer was losing market share to their competition due to their previous supplier's inability to produce needed quantities to the quality standards specified. This is a dental application that requires over-molding / Two-Shot (2-Shot) Molding Technology. Denver Plastics worked with the customer to transfer existing tooling, correct the tooling problems which were the cause of the quality issue and started production within 2 weeks of receiving the mold.
